What is a Workflow?

Lesson 3-2 · Watch on YouTube (opens in a new tab)

A workflow is a repeated task with clear pass or fail rules, and it matters more than the agent.

    • Write each task as an if-this-then-that sentence.
    • Business work cannot be right only most of the time, because an invoice that is wrong 5% of the time will cost you customers.
    • AI is always a little random, so write a clear pass or fail condition for each step, such as "the invoice total matches the quote."
    • To check whether a task is broken down enough, ask whether you could hand it to a high schooler without them messing it up.

Example: If a new customer emails us, then send them a message thanking them for reaching out.
